Byron Dorgan Youth Wellness Center’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of all Turtle Mountain and Rolette County residents.
BDYWC is an environmentally conscious 501c(3) organization. We aim to reduce our environmental impact and minimize waste.
We installed solar panels to utilize renewable energy, reduce carbon emissions & to have a consistent electric source in our extreme climates.
We installed a water station to prevent plastic waste that piles up on coastlines and contributes to the current climate crisis.
We hosted two hydroponic towers in partnership with NDSU Extension. Hydroponic towers reduce environmental damage and water usage.
We installed two garden beds in partnership with NDSU Extension. The garden beds provided produce that was shared within BDYWC and around the local community.
